LTFCA College Scholarship Program

The Louisiana Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association will be awarding three $500 scholarships to three high school seniors.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must have been coached by a current member of the LTFCA OR be a family member of a current member of the LTFCA.
A recommendation from the LTFCA member attesting to the applicant’s character and their positive influence on their high school and/or their T&F/XC team.
Applicant must be a 2020 graduating high school senior.
Applicant has been accepted to an accredited two- or four-year college or university.
Applicant must write a 500-word essay.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Complete the electronic LTFCA scholarship application form. Make sure to have your child/athlete’s 500-word essay as a PDF, prior to completing this form. This form cannot be submitted without the essay attached.
2. The following documents must be mailed to Jay Stuckey, PO Box 445, Amite, LA 70422 : An official copy of school transcript with signature of high school authority, documentation proving acceptance to either a 2-year or 4-year college/university and a copy of official SAT or ACT scores. This documentation must be received prior to April 1, 2020. Those applicants lacking the support documentation will be denied consideration.
3. Electronic application must be submitted prior to April 1, 2020.
